Link Promotion Terms

“Eligible Participant”: Open only to residents of any one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who:

• (a) are 18 years of age or older;
  
• (b) have not previously collected any other Link rewards; and
  
• (c) receive a Reward Offer and as indicated in the Reward Offer during the Promotion Period:
  
  • (i) For new accounts:
    
    • create an Eligible Link Account;
      
    • are holders of a Eligible Payment Method that is not connected to any other Link account during the Promotion Period;
      
    • add their Eligible Payment Method to their Eligible Link Account during the Promotion Period; and
      
    • as may be required in the Reward Offer, use their Eligible Payment Method to make an Eligible Purchase; OR
      
  • (ii) For existing accounts:
    
    • have an Eligible Link Account;
      
    • are holders of a Eligible Payment Method that is not connected to any other Link account during the Promotion Period; and
      
    • add their Eligible Payment Method to their Eligible Link Account during the Promotion Period; and
      
    • as may be required in the Reward Offer, use their Eligible Payment Method to make an Eligible Purchase; OR
      
  • (iii) For existing accounts that have not used their Eligible Payment Method to make an Eligible Purchase:
    
    • have an Eligible Link Account;
      
    • use the Eligible Payment Method previously added to the Eligible Link Account during the Promotion Period to make an Eligible Purchase; AND
      
  • (v) in all cases (i) - (iv) above, follow the instructions in the Reward Offer and these Link Promotion Terms.
    

‌“Eligible Purchase”: A successful payment is completed to make a purchase at a participating Stripe business user in USD using an Eligible Payment Method, where the total purchase amount is at least two times the Reward amount. Any attempt to complete the transaction (whether for the total purchase amount or a portion of that amount) that is unsuccessful will render that entire purchase ineligible to be an Eligible Purchase.

“Eligible Link Account”: A Link account that is unique in all of the following respects: phone number, email address and Eligible Payment Method. In other words, no existing Link account is associated with the same phone number, email address or Eligible Payment Method. Link is a product offered by Stripe, Inc. “Eligible Payment Method”: A Financial Account, as indicated in the Reward Offer.

“Financial Account”: A valid U.S. bank account.

‌“Promotion Period”: Unless otherwise stated in the Reward Offer, the promotion period starts at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“EST”) on July 1, 2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on August 31, 2025.

‌“Reward”: Money back in the USD amount identified in the Reward Offer to the Financial Account associated with the Eligible Payment Method that the Eligible Participant used to pay for the Eligible Purchase.

“Reward Offer”: means a reward offered in the Link payment flow, Eligible Link Account creation flow or directly from Stripe in writing (e.g. via email) on behalf of businesses that use Stripe.

How to Qualify: Eligible Participants must (a) during the Promotion Period, make an Eligible Purchase using an Eligible Payment Method (i.e. save the Eligible Payment Method to an Eligible Link Account as part of the Eligible Purchase transaction), and (b) not dispute nor invalidate the Eligible Purchase transaction, nor ask for a refund of the Eligible Purchase amount from the participating Stripe business user. In addition, to qualify for the Reward, the Financial Account associated with the Eligible Payment Method must remain open and valid and saved to the Eligible Link Account for at least 90 days following the Eligible Purchase.

How to Receive the Reward: After meeting the qualifications, Stripe will send the Reward to the Financial Account associated with the Eligible Participant’s Eligible Payment Method. If Stripe is unable to send the Reward to that Financial Account, Stripe may contact you via the email associated with your Eligible Link Account to confirm the Financial Account information. If Stripe is unable to deliver the Reward to the Eligible Participant by the end of the Promotion Period, the Reward will expire at the earlier of the end of the Promotion Period or 12 months from the Eligible Purchase. There is a limit of one Reward per Eligible Link Account. Stripe reserves the right to withhold or claw back the Reward amount from any refund or reversed transaction amount sent to the Eligible Participant for the previously Eligible Purchase if the promotion is void or if the Eligible Participant (a) disputes or invalidates the Eligible Purchase transaction, (b) asks for a refund of the Eligible Purchase amount from the participating Stripe business user such that the amount of the previously Eligible Purchase falls below twice the Reward amount, or (c) is found to be otherwise in violation of these Link Promotion Terms or the End User Terms.

Miscellaneous: Similar promotions may run at the same time; qualification for this promotion does not constitute qualification for any other promotion. Stripe is neither responsible nor liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected Reward or promotion-related materials or correspondence or if any participant’s e-mail address, phone number, or Financial Account is entered incorrectly, closed, invalid, or is changed by the Eligible Participant or any third party. Stripe reserves the right to review any Link account or transaction related to this promotion, in its sole discretion, without notice, and delay or reverse sending the Reward. Promotion is void: (a) where prohibited, (b) if Eligible Purchases are not completed through legitimate channels, or (c) if any promotion-related materials are counterfeit, altered, defective, fraudulent, tampered with or irregular in any way. Promotions are not transferable. Any questions relating to the promotion will be resolved in Stripe’s sole discretion, and its decisions related to the promotion will be final and binding. The participating Stripe business user is not responsible for the fulfillment of this promotion.
